London Underground Map
The London Underground network is composed of 11 lines. They serve the most important places of the English capital city, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the City of Westminster, but also Heathrow Airport and Wimbledon Tennis complex. It is the second busiest transit system in Europe, after the Paris Subway. Here is the London Underground Map.
London Underground Lines
The Bakerloo Line operates between Harrow & Wealdstone and Elephant & Castle stations. It is the Brown Line on the Tube map.
The Central Line runs from West Ruislip station to Epping. You can recognize it on the Underground map with its red color.
The Circle Line operates from Hammersmith and runs in a loop between Edgware Road and Paddington stations. The Circle Line is labeled on the map with the yellow color.
The District Line runs from Upminster to Ealing Broadway, Richmond, Wimbledon, Kensington (Olympia) and Edgware Road stations. The District Line is the Green Line on the Tube map.
Hammersmith & City Line
The Hammersmith & City Line operates between Hammersmith and Barking stations. It is labeled on the map with the pink color.
The Jubilee Line runs between Stanmore and Stratford. You can recognize the Jubilee Line on the Tube map with its grey color.
The Metropolitan Line operates from Aldgate to Uxbridge, Watford, Chesham and Amersham stations. The Metropolitan Line is the Magenta Line on the Underground map.
The Northern Line runs from Morden to Edgware, Mill Hill East and High Barnet stations. The Northern Line is labeled on the map with the black color.
The Piccadilly Line operates from Cockfosters station to Uxbridge and Heathrow Airport. It is labeled on the map with the dark blue color.
The Victoria Line runs between Walthamstow Central and Brixton. The Victoria Line is the Light Blue Line on the Tube map.
Waterloo & City Line
The Waterloo & City Line operates between Bank and Waterloo stations. You can recognize the Waterloo & City Line on the Underground map with its turquoise color.
