Sao Paulo Metro Map
The Sao Paulo Metro network is composed of 6 lines. They serve the most important places of the biggest Brazilian city. It is the second busiest metro system in South America after the Mexico City Metro. Here is the Sao Paulo Metro Map:

Sao Paulo Metro Lines
Line 1 operates between Tucuruvi and Jabaquara stations. It is the Blue Line on the Sao Paulo metro map.
It is not known for being an important line on a tourist point of view, however you can visit the São Paulo See Metropolitan Cathedral from Sé metro station, which is located under the Praça da Sé.
Line 2 runs from Vila Madalena station to Vila Prudente. You can recognize it on the map with its green color.
The only insteresting site to visit on Line 2 is São Paulo Museum of Art, that can be accessed from Trianon-Masp station.
Line 3 operates from Palmeiras-Barra Funda to Corinthians-Itaquera station. Line 3 is labeled on the map with the red color.
Allianz Parque, home field of Palmeiras football team, is located at walking distance from Palmeiras–Barra Funda station, which part of Palmeiras–Barra Funda Intermodal Terminal, a major transit site in Sao Paulo. São Paulo Cathedral can be accessed from Sé, where transfer to Line 1 is possible. There is a Connect direct service available at Brás station to reach São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport.
Line 4 runs from Butantã to Luz station. Line 4 is is the Yellow Line on the Sao Paulo metro map.
Luz Station, a major railway station that also houses the Museum of the Portuguese Language, is connected to Luz metro station. From June 2018, there is an Airport Express service to Sao Paulo – Guarulhos International Airport available from Luz station.
Line 5 operates between Capão Redondo and Moema stations. You can recognize Line 5 on the metro map with its lilac color.
Line 15 runs between Vila Prudente and Stratford. Line 6 is also known as the Silver Line.
Sao Paulo Metro Schedule
Trains run all time on the Blue and Red lines, even at night and on weekends. On weekdays, service on the other lines starts between 3:30 and 5 AM on weekdays (usually 1 hour later on weekends), and stops between 1 and 2:30 AM, except for the yellow line, on which trains stop running around 11 PM.

Sao Paulo Metro Schedule Fares
The price of a ticket for a ride on the Chicago Subway is $2.50. It is valid for a journey on all the L network, except if you take a train from O’Hare station. In that case, ticket will cost $5.
You can use a Ventra Card to purchase credit for your journeys on the Chicago Subway, or daily, weekly and monthly passes.
